Getting married in Florida is relatively easy. Apply for your marriage license in any county, regardless of where the wedding is taking place. The license is valid for 60 days after issuance. There is a three-day waiting period after issuance before you can get married, unless you’ve completed the Florida premarital course, in which case the waiting period is waived.
